Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin the Irish city of Dublin) is an Irish Canadian actor. Most famous is her role as the main character Anne Shirley on the CBC/Netflix Drama series Anne with an E. The show was inspired by the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery Anne of Green Gables from 1908. Amybeth McNulty was born on 7 November 2001 in Milford, County Donegal, Ireland she was the sole child born to an Irish father and an Irish father and a Canadian mother. Anne thirteen-year-old orphan who has lived in a secluded home for much of her life, is taken in error to the elderly Cuthbert siblings in Prince Edward Island. The story ends in 1919.
