Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin the Irish city of Dublin) is an Irish Canadian actor. Most famous is her role as the main character Anne Shirley on the CBC/Netflix Drama series Anne with an E. The show was inspired by the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery Anne of Green Gables from 1908. Amybeth McNulty was born on 7 November 2001 in Milford, County Donegal, Ireland she was the sole child born to an Irish father and an Irish father and a Canadian mother. Amybeth was born on 7th of November 2001 in Ireland. Amybeth is turning twenty-one in 2023. She was born and raised in Donegal, Ireland. She is a dual national of Ireland and Canada. Her hair is blonde. Anne has a close relationship with Gilbert Blythe. Gilbert is a year older as Anne who had to be kicked out of school because his dad became in a coma. Gilbert taunted Anne by calling her Carrots during their first school meeting. Amybeth McNulty plays Anne, an orphaned 13-year old who endures a childhood that is filled with violence in orphanages and homes. Anne thirteen-year-old orphan who has lived in a secluded home for much of her life, is taken in error to the elderly Cuthbert siblings in Prince Edward Island. The story ends in 1919. Gilbert and Anne are happy. Gilbert is 55 years old, and still affectionate with Anne.
