Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the US. Alongside being a part of his Road Trip role, he has also been seen in The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition to his work on Road Trip he's played in 22 different TV programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly tough fighter. Two years after treatment, the cancer is now in Remission. Being treated at such a young time had negative effects on his body. It hampered his development. As he got older, as if financial security was his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his life. In an interview, he stated that if I don't achieve money security or have a feeling of being out of touch with the world, I'll be miserable. He looks back on his early years, and is driven by the desire to act against bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. On and off film, DJ's character would love to play a father. The director doesn't choose him to fill these roles, however, he claims. He would like to become the father of his child one day in order to spend more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
